Personal Clarifier Models
 
They are best when less than 20 litre per day is required.   The plate set weighs 400 gms.  The container volume < 4 litres*, weight < 200 gms*.   The life of the plate set is typically 10,000 litres for 200 NTU muddy water†.  All components are small enough that they can be stored in the processing container – see example of RECla PN/S below. 
 
Model:      RECla PN/M (Mains power supply – weighs less than 250 or 500 gms*)
Suitable if you wish to clean up the poor quality tap water supplied to your residence and mains electricity is regularly available.  
 
Model:     RECla PN/S (Solar panel plus battery pack – 6” sq poly crystalline, weighs ≈ 400 gms, 6V, 80 mA output)
Well suited to solo or dual travelers, aid workers and similar in sunny regions.  The solar panel will only recharge the battery pack at the rate of about 10 litres per day.  
 
 
Model:      RECla PN/H (Hand generator plus battery pack – weighs less than 400 gms*)
Hikers and campers, aid agencies to assist residents in rural regions during floods.  About 1 – 2 minutes winding required for each litre to be cleaned.
 
Model:      RECla PN/A (Automotive electrical outlet – weighs less than 100 gms)
Caravaners, off road motorists/ motor cyclists, where the water has not had any salt contamination.
 
Model:      RECla PB/A (Automotive electrical outlet – weighs less than 100 gm, with the possibility of salt in the water).  Uses B controller to process brackish water.
Off road motorists or motor cyclists getting adventurous, eg, muddy brackish coastal ponds; or wishing to give aid in ocean affected regions, eg a recent cyclone or Tsunami.
 
*Specifications may vary with available product in different regions.
† Longer life if the water is less turbid, shorter if more turbid.
