Research Water Pty Ltd and its affiliated companies have had over 30 years experience in manufacturing high technology electronics components.  We have had over a decade of experience in the research and manufacture of water treatment systems.  Our team is led by Dr Vivian Robinson, an internationally renowned physicist with some 30 years experience in industrial research, development, design and manufacture.  
 
We recognised the need for PORTABLE equipment that could supply good quality drinking water to areas where none was available.  These include the over one billion people in the developing world, without access to water that had been treated in any manner.  Not to mention the three billion people whose treated water is not considered safe to drink.  It also includes regions where natural disasters destroy the existing water supply.  
 
There are many portable water filters available, why develop another technology?  BECAUSE FILTERS DON’T WORK WHEN THE WATER IS DIRTY.  There is a need for a portable treatment system that can work at any turbidity and remove dangerous chemicals as well as disinfect the water.  Research Water has recognised this and devoted its resources to a technology that will clean and disinfect the water under these circumstances.
